Did you know that colorectal cancer is the THIRD most common form of cancer in both men and women?

Colorectal cancer usually begins when a small polyp (a benign pimple-like growth on the wall of the colon), enlarges over time and becomes cancerous. The most widely used and accepted test for colon cancer is the colonoscopy.

The American Cancer Society recommends that all men and women age 50 and older have a colonoscopy  screening exam every 10 years unless polyps are discovered. The ACS also recommends that people with a family history of cancer have a colonoscopy every 5 years.

At our beautiful imaging center in Provo, Utah, we're here to help you screen for polyps and cancer. We offer:

  • Advanced OPTICAL and VIRTUAL colonography
  • Easy scheduling (either call personally or have your physician schedule using our convenient online scheduler. No referral necessary.)
  • Conventional post-virtual colonography without having to be re-prepped.

If you experience a difficult OPTICAL colonoscopy because of redundancy or strictures, a virtual CT colonoscopy is available immediately, thereby avoiding a failed exam.

Virtual (Digital) Colonoscopies are Less Invasive and More Accurate for Detecting Polyps

VIRTUAL colonoscopies are much less invasive, painful, and uncomfortable than OPTICAL colonoscopies. They also require less preparation in advance.

A virtual (digital) colonoscopy - also called CT colonography - is a non-invasive, highly accurate 3D CT scan that tests for cancer and other health issues.
